Guinness is good!

Yes, Mommy gave me Guinness. It was St. Patrick's Day afterall, and I am part Irish, so it's really a requirement. She put a little foam on my lip but most of it got on my bib (I love playing with my bib during dinner - sometimes I just pull it right off!!)

I love watching the Guinness cascade down the glass - I watch Mommy pour it into the glass on the counter. I even stop eating my O's while she does it (and I don't stop eating my O's for much...)

I've learned that you have to be careful how much Guinness you drink or you may end up looking like this:

Don't fence me in

Mommy & Daddy put this fence-thing up in the living room. Sometimes it's fun - I can pull up on it and cruise around. But sometimes I hate it! Mommy or Daddy will be on the other side and I can't get to them. So to punish them, I throw my toys on the other side and make them rescue them. That'll teach 'em!!

Grass? What's that?

So Mommy & Daddy took me up to Napa one Saturday. Something about wine and tasting - I don't know. While we were at a place they called Sequoia Grove Winery, they took me out of the stroller and put me down on the ground. Now I'm used to the soft rug in our house and even the tile in the bathroom or wood floors. But this stuff they put me on was weird. It was sort of like a prickly rug that stuck your hands when you try to crawl! And the weirdest thing of all, you can pull on it and it comes out in your hands!!! I didn't know what to do with it. They've taken me out a few more times to play on the grass, so I'm used to it now, but boy, that first time was weird!!

I'm cruisin'...

So I have now learned how to cruise around the house, using anything and everything that will help me along. I love being in the bathroom as there is a bunch of stuff to hold onto. Mommy & Daddy never let me play there long, but every once & a while they let me use the toilet as a drum. I even know how to make it flush!!

I also like to hang out in Mommy & Daddy's room. They have so much fun stuff in there. Mommy has a dressing table that used to be my great-grandma's. It has a big mirror right at my level that lets me look at myself all the time. I'm so cute, I love looking in the mirror!

Sleepy little Santa

It's hard to fly all around the world delivering presents. Especially when you're only eight months old...

Christmas in Green Bay - Brrrr!!!

I don't know if Nick ever realized just how cold it was during our trip, we kept him zipped up in his little "cookie monster" fleece suit each time we went outside. It is not waterproof, so in order to get him his first taste of snow, we had to put him on a towel on the snow. Of course, as soon as he hit the ground, he launched forward into the snow. He did feel how cold it was on his hands, but it didn't phase him too much.

He really had fun playing pool at Grandma & Grandpa D's house. He wasn't very good about sharing the balls, however. (Don't mind the spit-up on his onsie & pants - it's hard to eat with all those pool balls to play with!)

Of course, you can't go to Green Bay without a trip to Lambeau Field. He was a good boy and played with his toys while Mommy & Daddy had lunch in Curly's Pub. The Packers were playing in Chicago that weekend, so we didn't get to see a live game. (And a good thing too - the Packers lost.)

I think Kevin is the happiest one in the bunch...
