Bath time

Nick finally got used to taking a bath (it was quite a challenge for a while). So what finally won him over was the fact that if he kicked his legs back & forth, he could get the entire kitchen drenched.

Thanksgiving in SF

The whole Thomas clan traveled down to San Francisco for Thanksgiving, including Nick's newest cousin Alexander. Everyone stayed at Chez Desotell, so there were baby toys galore and two very happy Grandparents.

Nick couldn't quite enjoy turkey with all the trimmings - he actually was a bit skeptical of the turkey!

He was clearly ready to watch some football, however.

I'm too sexy for this onsie...

The title says it all!

October equals Baptism & Halloween

Quite a pair of activities, no? On October 14, Nick officially entered the Catholic Church. Both sets of grandparents traveled out for the event, as did his Godmother, Maggie. We had a little shin-dig after the ceremony which was fun.

Of course at the end of October came Halloween. While we didn't drag Nick around to pumpkin patches, we did get him a little one to 'snack on'.

We did, however, put a costume on him. He was an incredibly good sport and even let us make him wear it to day care on Halloween. He was the cutest little bee out there!!

Eating is tiring

Nick can tire himself out while eating. Thank goodness his high chair is comfy!

Jumperoo. The toy of champions.

The Jumperoo. What can be said about the jumperoo. It was a savior. We loved it. Nick loved it. And it had to be retired due to weight limitations. That was a sad, sad, day.

And so the REAL food starts...

Well, if you want to call rice cereal REAL food. At his four month check-up, the doctor said it was OK to start solids when we were ready. Considering Nick sucked down almost 40 oz. of formula a day, we figured it would be good to start giving him something other than a pure liquid diet. Needless to say, the cereal was a big hit!!
